FAQ

Quick answers about scope, booking, privacy, and crisis resources. This page is informational—not personal medical advice.

What is Keta?

Keta coordinates access to licensed ketamine-assisted care in the New York metropolitan area—scheduling handoffs, secure tools, and optional bounded AI. We are not a substitute for your clinician and we do not provide emergency services.

Is this telemedicine or a prescription service?

No. Eligibility, dosing, and medical decisions belong to licensed partner clinicians and sites. Keta helps you take the next administrative and educational steps—not replace professional judgment.

How do I book?

Use the Book flow to choose a partner location and request a time. You may need to create an account so we can confirm your details and sync with the clinic. For questions, use Contact or the clinical access line.

Can the AI companion change my medication or dose?

No. The companion is designed for general preparation, reflection, and education inside strict boundaries. It does not diagnose, dose, or handle crises. If you are in danger or crisis, call or text 988 (US) or your local emergency number.

How do you handle privacy?

We follow minimum-necessary practices for coordination data. Read our Privacy Policy for categories of information, cookies, and security. Where we operate as or on behalf of a HIPAA covered entity, our HIPAA notice describes your rights.

Who do I call for the access line?

The public clinical access line is listed in the site header and footer (1-888-666-KETA). It is not monitored as 911—use it for coordination questions, not immediate emergencies.

Crisis resources

If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, call or text 988 (US) or use your local emergency number. You can also read our About page for vetted external reading—not a substitute for professional care.
